We are now looking for a

Material Planner

Your main responsibilities will include:

1. Planning and monitoring the flow of materials for manufacturing needs, maintaining optimal inventory levels.
2. Planning purchase orders aligned with production needs and forecasts.
3. Managing materials flow according to stock policies, service levels, and logistics rules.
4. Collaborating with the Production Planning Department to update forecasts as needed.
5. Collecting and analyzing information for anticipation or postponement, and performing rescheduling activities in the system.
6. Creating purchase orders based on system data.
7. Preparing monthly forecasts for critical suppliers and monitoring variations.
8. Maintaining daily contact with suppliers.
9. Keeping all materials planning parameters in the ERP system updated and accurate.
10. Managing inbound materials in compliance with company inventory rules, including slow-moving and obsolete stock.
11. Monitoring stock management activities such as picking policies and handling procedures.
12. Optimizing inventory levels of raw materials, subassemblies, and finished goods following company guidelines.
13. Identifying opportunities to simplify the supply chain, reduce lead times, and optimize inventory rotation.
14. Managing special stock policies like consignment stock, JIT, and Kanban with specific suppliers.
15. Ensuring compliance with ITC regulations.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A Technical High School Diploma or University Degree in a science or technical field.
• 2-3 years of experience in purchasing, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of supply processes and inventory mechanisms in manufacturing environments.
• Experience with MRP systems.
• Knowledge of the impacts of introducing new products on materials could be a plus.
