Materials Application Engineer - Production Support Specialist - Aviation Domain

Location: Turin area

The selected candidate will join our structured Engineering Support team focused on Aero Engines / Gearboxes, responsible for activities related to material characterization.

Key responsibilities include planning and managing test campaigns focusing on mechanical properties, analyzing results, and collaborating with departments such as Design, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, as well as interfacing with suppliers.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Materials, Nanotechnology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Extensive knowledge of metallic materials and production processes
  • Experience with characterization tests, especially mechanical tests
  • Basic understanding of fracture mechanics is a plus
  • Experience with international standards is a plus
