Work locations: Turin, Brindisi

The selected candidate will join a well-structured Engineering Support team focusing on Aero Engines / Gearboxes. Responsibilities include R&D activities, testing, analysis, and characterization of materials, verification & validation of new materials, defining technical specifications for special treatments, conducting failure analysis/investigation on damaged or non-conforming components, collaborating with other departments (Design, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain), and interfacing with suppliers.

Qualification Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Materials Science, Nanotechnology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience or knowledge in Additive Manufacturing processes and technologies is preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of various materials (metallic, ceramic, composite, polymeric) and experience in characterization testing
  • Laboratory operations experience, including procedures and equipment
  • Knowledge of coating/surface treatment processes is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Proficiency in English
  • Good computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
