MATERIALS APPLICATION ENGINEER - ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING SPECIALIST - AVIATION DOMAIN

Job Location: Brindisi, Apulia, Italy

The selected candidate will work in a structured Engineering Support office, focusing on Aero Engines / Gearboxes. Responsibilities include activities related to R&D, testing, analysis, material characterization, verification and validation of new materials, defining technical specifications for special treatments, failure analysis/investigation on damaged or non-conforming components, collaborating with other departments (Design, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain), and interfacing with suppliers.

Qualification Requirements

• Materials/Nanotechnology/Engineering Master Degree or similar background
• Expertise in Additive Manufacturing processes and technologies
• Broad knowledge of metallic materials and experience with characterization tests
