We are seeking a Material Productivity Leader to join our Procurement organization. This role is vital in optimizing material costs and boosting productivity within the plant.

The responsibilities include developing, leading, and executing initiatives related to technical productivity, supporting the Procurement team in achieving productivity targets on direct materials, with a focus on:

  1. Insource, outsource, and change of supplier
  2. Quality & value engineering changes
  3. Supply base optimization and risk mitigation

The role involves participating in the BOC to animate productivity actions, organizing and leading QVE days, conducting productivity workshops, and building a pipeline of projects to ensure year-over-year productivity growth. Developing business cases and managing risks are also key aspects.

Qualifications
  • University/College degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience in Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain
  • Over 3 years of proven project management experience
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and Agile methodology
  • Fluent in English, with availability for international travel (valid passport and USA visa required)
Technical Skills & Soft Skills
  • Supply chain knowledge, supplier management, negotiation, market analysis, cost modeling, inventory management
  • Ability to interpret engineering specs, drawings, BOM
  • Strong project management and financial acumen
  • Proficiency in database management tools like Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent multitasking, teamwork, leadership, communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
