Competenze

We are looking for a Material Productivity Leader to be part of the Procurement organization. This role plays a crucial part in optimizing material costs and enhancing productivity within the plant.

The Material Productivity Leader will be responsible for developing, leading, and executing all initiatives associated with technical productivity in the plant to support the Procurement team in reaching productivity targets on direct materials with a major focus on:

  • Insource, outsource, change of supplier, quality & value engineering changes, supply base optimization, and supply risk mitigation.
  • Participate in the BOC to animate productivity actions with the target to get them approved and applied within P&L date, working in cooperation with R&D and Plant Quality.
  • Organize, execute, and lead QVE days in cooperation with Buyers, Vendors, and Marketing. Lead productivity workshops to increase the pipeline of new ideas and business cases for future projects. Build and support a solid pipeline of projects through new ideas that secure productivity year over year to guarantee a robust RF productivity plan.
  • Development of solid business cases to mature productivity ideas and convert them into projects.
  • Perform risk management to identify and minimize issues in program/project execution, leading discussions and tracking of action plans with proper individuals.

Qualifications

  • University/College degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain areas.
  • 3+ years proven experience working in Project Management.
  • Understanding of Manufacturing Processes.
  • Experience implementing and leading Agile.
  • Fluent English (written and oral).
  • Availability to travel internationally (Valid Passport and USA Visa).

  • Supply Chain knowledge, Supplier Management, Negotiation, Market analysis, Cost Modeling, Inventory Management.
  • Ability to interpret engineering specs, drawings, BOM (Bill of Material).
  • Strong Project Management knowledge.
  • Financial acumen.
  • Internal Cost and Budget Management knowledge.
  • Total cost analysis.
  • Proficient in Database Management (Excel, PowerPoint high level).
