Job summary

ABB Smart Power seeks an Inventory Planning Specialist to own end-to-end inventory planning in Italy, from requisition to customer invoicing. You will drive inventory parameters, support internal inquiries, and coordinate replenishment to ensure stock availability across functions.

The role requires SAP familiarity (nice to have), fluency in Italian and English, and a hybrid work model with travel as needed. Minimum annual salary starts at €33,000.

Your Role And Responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to be responsible for end-to-end planning of inventory, including Sales in Excess of invoicing from purchase requisition to customer invoice. Each day, you will support internal customer service inquiries. You will also showcase your expertise by setting inventory parameters and targets and ensuring adequate replenishment of inventory through purchase orders.

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:

• Defining inventory policies based on specified segmentation.
• Calculating and maintaining the inventory parameters, including safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead time, and replenishment strategies, in the planning systems and the ERPs.
• Coordinating material planning with call-offs to ensure that purchase requisitions are converted into purchase orders in collaboration with operations buyers and services.
• Collaborating with buyers to achieve the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery, Minimum Order Quantity, quality, lead time, and flexibility.

Qualifications For The Role

• Knowledge of SAP is nice to have.
• You are available for flexible working hours, rotating shifts, and business travel.
• Degree in management engineering.
• You are at ease communicating in Italian and English, both written and spoken.

Compensation Package

Applicable CBA: Metalmeccanico

Minimum annual salary: € 33.000,00

Variable Pay: Eligible for Company Productivity Bonus
