To support its strong and rapid growth,Nordex Italyis looking for a Material Coordinator for the Head Quarter in Rome.

The role will involve supporting the management of stock levels to meet demands and also monitoring stock movements so correct levels of stock are available at the service points and keeping the operational stock costs as adequate as possible.

YOUR TASKS:

  • Prioritize open work orders within defined company rules and guidelines using standard times and expecting driving times
  • Check regular material availability, ordering additional supplies as required, to ensure all materials are available when required
  • Order spare parts and maintenance materials from the Central Warehouse, taking under control stock levels and ensuring spare parts are delivered to sites on time
  • Responsible for managing the warehouse stock level with the aim to reach the targets decided every year by the company
  • Manage safety stock implementation and adjustments in the service points
  • Perform annual stocktaking and support and coordinate audits
  • Transfer spare parts between service points in SAP
  • Organize material returns to Central Warehouse and external suppliers
  • Monthly reporting of stock levels, stock movements and freight costs
  • Material support to local teams including material training, parts identification and D-parts handling
  • Support the Service Technicians on raising the ticket on ServiceNow
  • Provide detailed reports to the management
  • Start-up of the new service locations
  • Participation in relevant operations meetings when required
  • Daily contact with the service organization out in the field as well as communication with the Spare Parts Management Department in Rostock and Hamburg and other relevant departments
  • Analyse requirements and plannable work in advance
  • Propose and implement ideas, new procedures and generally possible improvement that can increase quality, efficiency and profitability

  • University degree
  • 2 years experience in supply chain
