Marketing Strategist, EMEA
Job Description:
The Marketing Strategist Manager oversees the overall marketing strategy and plan execution for selected IT vendors in EMEA. The marketing strategist manager ensures alignment of all marketing activities with the business plans and sales objectives Arrow has with the selected IT vendors. He/she works with sales counterparts to develop and implement go-to-market and marketing plans targeting both channel partners and potentially targeted end customers. The role requires extensive collaboration and maintaining a high level of rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, plan, and lead the execution of marketing strategies and campaigns to promote solutions from selected IT vendors, targeting channel partners and end customers, utilizing modern marketing capabilities.
- Manage the full marketing mix: recruiting, enabling, and growing channel partners, and developing new business through demand generation programs for end customers.
- Collaborate with marketing strategists in NA to build synergies and work with other functions within Arrow ECS Marketing.
- Apply a deep understanding of Arrow's value proposition, technology initiatives, and digital marketing services to guide planning and strategies.
- Monitor campaign progress closely in the EMEA region.
- Leverage knowledge of go-to-market strategies, product positioning, messaging, and target audiences to create impactful marketing campaigns that generate sales-ready leads.
- Utilize performance benchmarks to plan and pitch effective marketing plans to vendors, securing approvals.
- Own the marketing investment and spending strategy to deliver ROI, leveraging Arrow ECS Performance Marketing Team.
- Create effective campaign plans using marketing campaign brief development methodology, align with business, and oversee execution and effectiveness tracking.
- Follow approved marketing workflows, collaborate on best practices, and incorporate benchmarks into planning and pitching processes.
- Analyze and report on campaign effectiveness metrics such as MQLs, Pipeline Value, and Estimated Revenue, and propose creative ideas to maximize growth.
- Manage and govern marketing budgets, approve spending against plans, and handle claims process.
Requirements:
- Typically requires 5 to 7 years of experience in B2B marketing with IT vendors.
- At least 3 years of experience in strategic marketing plan development, with expertise in digital marketing and Account-Based Marketing.
- Mandatory experience working with or for channel partners.
- Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
