Our Dexcom CGM systems are designed for individuals with type 1 or type 2 diabetes who need to monitor their blood sugar levels. The system features customizable alerts to warn users of dangerous glucose levels, even during sleep.

This role reports to the Sr Marketing Manager Italy, with a dotted line to the Sr Marketing Manager Professional & Patient Education EMEA.

This position is responsible for defining and implementing the professional and patient education marketing strategy for Dexcom products in Italy.

The successful candidate will collaborate with medical affairs, regional and country marketing teams, clinical, regulatory, legal, and compliance teams to develop compelling educational content and programs. The role requires strategic thinking, effective communication of complex scientific information, leadership, and collaboration skills to build cross-functional relationships and share best practices.

Your Responsibilities :
  • Develop regional professional education strategies to support healthcare professionals in primary and secondary care, including creating and executing implementation plans to promote CGM adoption.
  • Lead the development and execution of programs supporting education and advocacy for CGM as standard care across Italy, including platforms, webinars, and accredited training programs.
  • Create and execute patient education and onboarding strategies, providing tools and platforms to facilitate implementation.
  • Manage projects related to professional and patient education programs, including market research, metrics analysis, and ROI measurement.
  • Develop tailored education programs based on customer needs and business priorities, supporting sales teams with product training, clinical studies, and advocacy efforts.
  • Co-lead regional advisory boards to leverage KOL insights and advise on educational and commercial strategies.
  • Identify innovative marketing and educational opportunities to increase CGM awareness and adoption, especially within educational settings for HCPs.
  • Manage the annual budget to optimize resource allocation and achieve program objectives.
Your Profile :
  • Degree in Life Sciences; clinical degrees such as MD, RD, RN, PharmD, NP are preferred. Certifications like CDCES or postgraduate education certificates are advantageous.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in professional education and marketing, preferably related to diabetes technology and CGM use.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for diverse audiences.
  • Expertise in developing and executing marketing programs supporting clinical education and engaging healthcare professionals through multiple channels.
  • Proficiency in developing educational content and managing advisory boards with KOLs.
  • Excellent presentation skills for clinicians and patients.
  • Team-oriented, collaborative, and capable of working independently with critical thinking.
  • Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical sectors required.
  • Fluent in Italian and English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (0-25%).
