Dematic has an immediate need for a Field Marketing Manager (FMM), Marketing team Italy/Iberia. This position reports directly to the Senior Manager Field Marketing – EMEA and is responsible for external facing marketing activities, including managing a partial budget for Dematic EMEA. The FMM will define and implement strategies for effective and efficient working teams to meet best-in-class standards within EMEA, fostering good collaboration and synergy between the central marketing teams (global). This individual will oversee the in-market MarCom and Customer Experience, including identifying and executing trade shows, regional campaigns, sales enablement, and customer communications, in strong alignment with the Director, Marketing and Communications, and regional sales in Italy/Iberia.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Tasks:

  • Raise Dematic brand awareness through events and various marketing projects.
  • Set strategic plans, budgets, and control mechanisms within the division to deliver performance targets and develop effective plans.
  • Develop and apply innovative and standard solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Build relationships with customers through effective communication in meetings, presentations, documentation, and other means.
  • Contribute to the successful achievement of company-wide goals as part of the Italian/Spain management team.
  • Support the development of Italy/Spain go-to-market and marketing strategies.
  • Present the company to customers, emphasizing competence, application experience, high-quality products, and customer care. Maintain good contact with existing customers and establish new contacts where possible.
  • Create a collaborative approach within the business, fostering interaction with Sales, Engineering, and Implementation teams.
  • Monitor the materials handling market, including customers, suppliers, and competitors. Maintain knowledge of the company's product range and applications.
  • Position and differentiate Dematic in the market through events.
  • Educate customers on the latest solutions and technologies via events.
  • Deliver qualified leads.
  • Model Dematic's Values of Integrity, Collaboration, Courage, and Excellence.

What We Are Looking For:

Qualification Requirements:

  • Native Spanish language skills
  • Native Italian language skills
  • Professional English language skills
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Masters strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of marketing and communications experience within a global, matrix organization
  • Proactive self-starter with discipline in setting goals and metrics, driving decisions, and closing issues
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels, both internal and external, with the ability to make timely, effective, principles-based decisions
  • Strong team player, creative, aligned with the Director and Marketing Team
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Experienced User of Marketo
