POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting directly to the Country Manager, the Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns across diverse channels. This role demands a strong understanding of digital marketing, public relations (PR) strategy, and trade marketing. The successful candidate will leverage data and analytics to maximize campaign effectiveness. As a team leader, the Marketing Manager actively manages the operational execution of marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with budget, brand guidelines, and timelines. The Marketing Manager will lead a team of 4 people and be responsible for the market strategy, ensuring alignment with global and European guidelines.
The role involves close collaboration with the Regional Marketing & Digital teams in Paris to align with overarching strategies and initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Execute the annual marketing plan, aligned with Sephora Europe initiatives.
- Analyze brand performance to identify key opportunities.
- Negotiate and organize local promotional activities to drive sales.
- Develop and implement comprehensive omnichannel marketing strategies that support overall business objectives.
Campaign Management & Optimization
- Manage and optimize performance across all marketing channels, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Continuously seek and implement innovative improvements to the media planning process.
Retail & In-Store Activation
- Analyze in-store consumer behavior and develop targeted activation strategies to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
Relationship Management & Influencer Marketing
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with creators (influencers, VIPs) and beauty editors.
- Develop and execute impactful influencer marketing initiatives (e.g., contests, content collaborations, events) to expand brand awareness and audience reach.
Budget & Financial Management
- Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns across diverse channels, including email, social media, paid advertising, website, mobile, and in-store activations.
- Maintain meticulous oversight of the digital and marketing budget.
Digital & E-Commerce Strategy
- Coordinate social media, email marketing (newsletters), and e-commerce strategies to drive sales and improve product visibility/ranking.

Language Proficiency
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is a plus.
