Job Title : Marketing Director - HIV Therapeutic Area

Location : Milan office

  • Responsibilities

Strategic Planning :

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for the HIV therapeutic area, aligning with overall company objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for growth.

Team Management

  • Lead and develop the current HIV Marketing Team. Work closely with BUD to set objectives, manage performance, plan and prioritize task.
  • Be a people leader withing Gilead ensuring a positive team climate, living the Gilead values and enabling talent.

Product Launch and Lifecycle Management :

  • Lead the launch of new HIV therapies, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and execute lifecycle management plans to maximize the value of existing products.

Brand Management :

  • Build and maintain a strong brand presence for HIV products in the market.
  • Collaborate with the cross-functional team to develop compelling promotional materials and campaigns.

Market Access :

  • Work closely with Market Access teams to develop pricing and access strategies for HIV products.
  • Collaborate with payer and reimbursement stakeholders to optimize market access.

KOL Engagement :

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the HIV therapeutic area.
  • Collaborate with KOLs to gather insights, support clinical initiatives, and enhance product positioning.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of marketing strategies.
  • Provide marketing support for educational programs, conferences, and other promotional events.

Budget Management :

  • Manage the marketing budget for the HIV therapeutic area, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  • Track and analyze the KPIs of the various marketing initiatives.

Regulatory Compliance :

  • Ensure all marketing activities adhere to regulatory guidelines and compliance standards.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Greater than 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, preferably with a focus on HIV or infectious diseases.
  • Proven track record of successful product launches and lifecycle management.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
