The Marketing Director will be responsible for the lead generation strategy that enables the sales team to reach growth targets, with a strong focus on client acquisition and conversion leveraging digital and offline channels. The role also includes overseeing the Sector Alarm brand and website management.
This position reports directly to the country Managing Director and indirectly (dotted line) to the Chief Marketing Officer.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead generation oversight
- Develop and oversee the country's lead generation strategy, including defining channels and supervising execution by internal teams and agencies:
- Online: Paid search, social media, programmatic advertising, partnerships, affiliates
- Offline: TV, radio, billboard, print
Explore new lead generation channels (e.g., new formats, partnerships, sources)Manage agency performance, with ultimate accountability for results resting with the Marketing DirectorBudgeting and forecasting: propose, execute, and control the marketing budget, prioritize spending, and be accountable for marketing resultsBrand oversightDefine and develop Sector Alarm’s market positioning and brand identity (signatures and graphic guidelines), aligned with group standardsCoordinate brand deployment across media (TV, digital, print, radio) with creative and production agenciesOversee annual campaign planning, ensuring effective translation into media and website contentWebsite optimization and adaptationSupervise local website adaptations and SEO strategies in collaboration with group marketingEnhance website conversion rates through A/B testing initiativesMarketing team managementLead and develop team members responsible for branding, lead acquisition, and website projectsPROFILE & EXPERIENCE
- Data-driven mindset with a history of implementing analytical, ROI-focused marketing activities that deliver measurable commercial success
- Experience managing marketing budgets and forecasting
- Proven expertise in performance marketing, online acquisition channels, and media mix optimization
- Understanding of offline marketing (especially TV) with agency support
- Knowledge of attribution modeling and result interpretation across marketing funnels
- Experience in digital audience optimization, creative messaging, and user experience (a plus)
- Brand management skills, with experience in developing distinctive brand positioning
- Agency management experience, including setting agreements and review processes
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a track record of attracting and developing talent
- Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and contribute to executive decisions
- Experience in utility or subscription-based categories is advantageous
- High learning agility, strong interpersonal skills, and effective communication in a multi-country matrix structure
