The Role:
For a large Multinational Company, we are looking for a Marketing & Communication Manager MEA who will be responsible for developing, coordinating, executing, and tracking local marketing programs to acquire, nurture leads, and engage customers. He/she will develop the regional marketing plan in alignment with business priorities.
Principal Responsibilities:
DIGITAL MARKETING
- Collaborate with EMEA team to identify and develop lead nurturing campaigns and execute them locally. Ensure the right combination of digital and conventional marketing initiatives for lead generation programs using marketing automation tools. Test and monitor campaigns to optimize performance.
- Contribute to maintaining the quality of the customer database and, in case of no local CRM use, implement a lead management process with the sales team, working closely with sales and IT.
- Manage and ensure the correct content of local websites, including regular news publication; review website analytics and implement SEO actions to increase traffic and nurture leads.
- Manage Customer Newsletters as needed.
- Conduct e-invitations for all events, set up and manage online registration systems, and coordinate webinars.
- Manage registrations, create customized company profiles and/or product data for external websites (e.g., conference sites, business directories) that enhance company visibility in strategic markets.
- Manage any local extranet dedicated to customers or partners (customer portal).
- Manage local social media activity to increase brand value and promote company solutions.
- Create and manage local assets (email signatures, banners, ads) and ensure proper use and placement.
ADVERTISING & PUBLIC RELATIONS
- Ensure consistent translation of external local language content (e.g., press releases, newsletter articles, white papers, case stories) and manage distribution through professional and social media.
- Coordinate production of local content in alignment with strategy (e.g., local press releases for events, case stories, press articles) by interfacing with stakeholders (trade media, technical, sales, customers, agencies) and obtaining necessary publication authorizations.
- Manage local print and digital advertisements, ensuring consistent translation/adaptation of corporate materials or creation of local ads in alignment with strategy. Optimize publication for cost-effectiveness and clear ROI.
- Publish relevant content to promote thought leadership.
PRINT MEDIA
- Ensure availability of necessary collaterals (brochures, leaflets, posters, roll-ups) for sales force and key stakeholders. Ensure local language translation where needed.
- Produce new collaterals to meet local market requirements (e.g., price lists, catalogues).
- Maintain a consistent collateral inventory system and optimize print cost through efficient production.
EVENTS
- Organize external events such as trade shows, conferences, in-house events, customer/distributor site events, plant visits, seminars, webinars, etc.
- Monitor local event calendars to identify opportunities to position the company as a thought leader.
- Update/customize company or solution presentations as needed.
- Manage exhibition units, product demos, and other event materials. Ensure efficient distribution of available resources for use at appropriate events, including those organized by distributors and partners.
SALES PROMOTION & CHANNEL SUPPORT
- Produce POS materials and manage their execution and communication.
- Coordinate cost-effective procurement of promotional items in alignment with the marketing plan and brand enhancement, in cooperation with the purchasing department.
PRODUCT LAUNCH
- Support local roll-out of product launches or upgrades in coordination with regional Marketing and Product Management teams.
- Contribute to local launch planning based on internal and external data (e.g., market potential, competitors).
- Adapt/create necessary key collaterals in local languages as needed.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Fluency in English and Arabic, written and spoken, is mandatory.
- Proficiency in key marketing automation tools (Adobe Package, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, Marketo, Salesforce, and project management tools).
- Strong knowledge of key social media platforms.
- Excellent content writing skills.
- Self-driven, versatile, able to work independently.
- Structured and well-organized.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with departments such as technical, sales, and IT.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in online and social media marketing.
- Brand development skills.
- A degree in Engineering will be considered a plus.
CONTRACT: Permanent, full-time
