Job Description

For a 4*S hotel part of a national hotel chain in the heart of Milan, we are looking for a Marketing & Communication Manager (Hospitality).

The candidate, reporting directly to the Group Marketing Director and the General Manager of the Hotel, will be responsible for:

  1. Assisting the Group Marketing Director in defining the new strategy and positioning of the Hotel
  2. Managing the Hotel Budget regarding Marketing activities/initiatives
  3. Organizing (planning and coordination) of photo and video shoots, managing sponsorship requests and local partnerships
  4. Updating and managing the website and platforms with new content, photos, videos, and promotions
  5. Coordinating content development and editorial plans for the Hotel's social channels
  6. Coordinating strategic activities for sponsored social media campaigns
  7. Managing local press activities (e.g., publishing hotel events, managing relationships with local press, sharing initiatives/press releases, event invitations)
  8. Creating an in-house calendar of events
  9. Enhancing Marketing & Communication opportunities with Luxury Travel Networks
  10. Defining the communication plan and calendar of events for the F&B outlets
  11. Developing, in collaboration with the PR Director, a customized program for journalists, influencers, correspondents, and local press
  12. Supporting the Hotel General Manager in managing relationships with local institutions/organizations linked to the Hotel
Requirements
  • Previous work experience in hospitality is mandatory
  • Proven experience in Marketing & Communication (at least 3-4 years)
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Strong leadership and team player qualities
  • Proven social networking experience and knowledge of social analytics tools
  • Knowledge of online marketing and major marketing channels
  • Knowledge and passion for luxury hospitality and the most popular social media platforms
  • Knowledge of luxury travel bloggers and influencers
  • Positive attitude, attention to detail, customer-oriented, with good multitasking and organizational skills
  • Fluency in both Italian and English
