GWM Italia is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead QMS planning, implementation, and continuous improvement for automotive operations in Milano. You will ensure compliance with IATF 16949/ISO 9001 and coordinate across departments to uphold safety and recalls.

The role requires 10+ years in quality management within automotive or mechanical industries, strong knowledge of FMEA and SPC, and fluent English (Chinese preferred).

Competenze

• 10 years work experience in the field of quality management (QMS promotion ≥ 3 years), quality planning, quality assurance, quality control and quality improvement. worked in automotive or mechanical industry.
• Knowledge of well-known quality management and IATF 16949/ISO 9001 standard, related laws, regulations and policies for the safety, certification and recall of automotive products. Familiar with FMEA and SPC methods; standards in the automobile industry, processes, car manufacturing.
• Language: fluent in English, the candidate with both English and Chinese is preferred.

• Plan, organize, analyze and improve the QMS and monitor compliance.
• Formulate and implement quality policy and goals; plan and promote quality activities.
• Monitor regulatory compliance for new and mass-produced vehicles.
• Gather market data on defective vehicles, identify problems, assign accountability and track corrective actions.
• Collect information on imported models, analyze faults and monitor corrective actions.
• Oversee issue resolution for problems like FCI, rust protection, returns, and social media complaints.
• Control defect results, risk assessment, BC-S issues, and recall campaigns planning.
• Support adaptation of new cars and prevent recurrence of issues; coordinate with HQ Italy on quality planning.

Responsibilities

• Planning, organization, analysis and improvement of the QMS, monitoring compliance with the requirements of the QMS;
• Formulation and implementation of the quality policy, management of quality goals, as well as planning and promotion of activities that contribute to ensuring orderly work and continuous improvement of quality management;
• Monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements for new and mass-produced vehicles;
• Responsibility for obtaining data from the market on the number of defective vehicles, identifying key problems based on this, allocating responsibility, monitoring the implementation of corrective actions, working to reduce the number of complaints and negative reviews;
• Responsibility for collecting information on imported models from GWM, analyzing emerging faults, monitoring the implementation of corrective actions;
• Control the solution of the problems such as FCI, rust protection, returns and exchanges, public opinion on social networks, complaints, etc.
• Control over the results of identified defects, risk assessment, control over BC-S problems, as well as planning recall campaigns and timely response;
• Adaptation of new cars, prevention of re-emergence of previously identified problems;
• Implementation of the quality planning function of the headquarters in Italy, cooperation with other departments on issues related to quality.

Qualifications
