British American Tobacco Italy has an exciting opportunity for a Market Intelligence Specialist in Rome. BAT Italy is a very dynamic end market and full of new growth opportunities both in traditional and new categories.

The role of Market Intelligence Specialist is part of the Insights and Foresights team. Overall the role of the I&F function is to measurably increase the focus and yield of Marketing investment by driving the strategic planning and decision making process through actionable understanding of consumer needs and mechanisms of the marketplace. The job holder plays a key role in monitoring and reporting on the successful application of Marketing strategies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Support marketing decisions by providing relevant information and analysis based on all market data;
2. Analyze and translate in a continuous way the market changes, products and segments in order to generate insights on market trends and dynamics;
3. Ensure that company's marketing KPIs are effectively analyzed and regularly reported to the Management Team;
4. Monitor the competitive landscape and provide competition insights;
5. Preparation of performance reports for different nicotine categories: weekly and monthly frequency;
6. Internal reporting systems management and maintenance;
7. SKU guides management, collecting the data with key product characteristics and mapping;
8. Competitors reports preparation: collecting competitors' activities information;
9. Pricing reports management and pricing changes collection from the open sources;
10. Nicotine categories brand boards maintenance;
11. Analysis of the market trends, performance deep dives.

What are we looking for?

1. Bachelor and/or master's degree in economics, statistics, accounting, business administration or marketing;
2. Good Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBi knowledge;
3. Analytical and attentive to details;
4. Willingness and ability to learn fast, openness to working with huge amount of data with strong analytical skills;
5. Proactive attitude, able to work and cooperate with a variety of departments;
6. Fluency in English and Italian languages;
7. FMCG / market analytics / retail audit experience.
