Job summary

RINA invites applications for a Senior Project Manager in Genova to lead complex, funded R&D and innovation projects within the Marine Market Development division. You will build partnerships, drive project success, and contribute to business growth in the maritime and blue economy sectors.

Reporting to the Marine Market Development division, the role emphasizes leadership of multidisciplinary teams, governance of project decisions, and advancement of IP and exploitation strategies.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in R&D or project management.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Project management certification are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define proposal strategy for complex and high-value projects.
• Lead development of innovative project concepts.
• Lead complex, multidisciplinary projects and act as Project Coordinator when required.
• Take responsibility for overall project performance and governance.
• Oversee project financial performance and identify new funding opportunities.
• Manage complex risks and critical issues; support resolution of high-level challenges.
• Manage relationships with clients, partners and institutions; represent the company in innovation networks.
• Mentor and support Associate and PM roles; lead technology and market scouting and support IP strategy.
