Position Overview

For our IKEA Distribution center in Piacenza, we are looking for resources interested in engaging in a 4.0 logistics environment.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a technical-professional diploma in electronics or mechanics
• Have at least two years of professional experience in the field
• Excellent knowledge of electrical, mechanical systems, and PLC (this is a plus)
• Good knowledge of IT systems (Office, especially Excel)
• Good level of English (B1)
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a team
• Excellent relational and communication skills
• Proactive and eager to learn new processes

Daily Responsibilities

• Support operations by restoring machines and ensuring their proper functioning
• Manage the automated warehouse, monitoring the correct flow of goods in and out
• Train staff on the safe use of machines
• Follow standard procedures and maintenance manuals for machine upkeep
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled electromechanical maintenance, mainly mechanical (external stretch wrappers and filmers)
• Coordinate with external Italian and foreign suppliers for spare parts procurement
• Manage spare parts inventory
