ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and with H&S, Environment, and Quality Management Systems.
- Assess and operate all lines within the production facility.
- Identify and lead improvement activities on production lines.
- Assist the Shift Leader in resolving sporadic process quality issues by implementing and monitoring corrective actions.
- Perform necessary verification checks throughout operations and maintain relevant documentation according to TS16949 and local control plan requirements.
- Investigate non-conformance causes related to machine, materials, and process failures to reduce waste.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Wear required PPE at all times.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Shift Leader or Director of Manufacturing.
- Understand the environmental impact of their role.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work independently and responsibly, as well as in a team environment.
- Effective use of the metric system.
- Knowledge of hand tools.
- Qualified to operate a forklift.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills using Kaizen methodology.
- Ability to lift 50–75 pounds.
- Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts (one month days, one month nights).
- Ability to stand and move continuously for long periods.
