Johnson & Johnson Latina site seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor – New Product Introduction to lead NPIs, batch and continuous manufacturing campaigns on-site in Borgo San Michele, Latina. This permanent, operations-based role reports to the Operations Manager and drives safe, compliant production for the site’s innovation pipeline.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biotechnology or related field.
Experience in GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing and familiarity with ICH and ISO standards.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making and risk management skills; ability to lead through change.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and matrix organizations.
Excellent communication, networking and influencing skills; positive attitude.
Fluent English (written and spoken).

We are searching for the best talent for Manufacturing Supervisor – New Product Introduction

to be in Borgo San Michele – Latina.

Purpose

For our pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Latina (Italy), we are looking for a MANUFACTURING SUPERVISOR (PG 25) to be hired with a PERMANENT CONTRACT within the Operations Department (manufacturing area).

The Manufacturing Supervisor will be responsible for the operational execution of:

NPIs production on both batch mode and continuous manufacturing
Commercial production of Continuous Manufacturing and ESTC

The role provides leadership as direct responsible of a group of operators, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient execution of manufacturing activities while supporting the site's innovation pipeline, technology transfers and future commercial readiness initiatives.

The successful candidate will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved according to business priorities and timelines.

This is an on-site position reporting directly to the Operations Manager.

As a Manufacturing Supervisor – New Product Introduction, You Will

Lead and supervise NPI manufacturing activities across Batch Mode, Continuous Manufacturing and ESTC area, ensuring successful execution of validation activities/technical transfer and commercial readiness of manufacturing campaigns;
Coordinate resources, schedules and operational priorities to guarantee project timelines while avoiding any impact on commercial production, in cooperation with the other areas supervisors;
Drive operational readiness activities for Continuous Manufacturing and ESTC (Enterprise Technology Center);
Support implementation of innovative manufacturing technologies and continuous improvement initiatives;
Lead, coach and develop a team of operators through effective performance management and development planning;
Promote a culture of safety, compliance, accountability, engagement and continuous learning collaborating with the MPS and other areas supervisors;
Increase technical capabilities and polyvalence within the organization to support evolving business needs;
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication, alignment and project execution;
Manage quotation process of new product introductions for manufacturing, ensuring timely, accurate, and competitive cost estimates aligned with business and operational requirements.

Qualifications / Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biotechnology or another relevant scientific or technical discipline;
Relevant experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing operations within a GMP-regulated environment and familiarity with ICH guidelines and ISO standards;
Solid knowledge of manufacturing process Demonstrated ability to lead through change and act as a change agent Strong problem-solving, decision-making and risk management skills;
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment;
Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and matrix organizations;
Strong communication, networking, influencing skills and positive attitude;
Demonstrated business acumen and understanding of operational performance drivers;
Fluent English (written and spoken).

Preferred

Experience or knowledge of Continuous Manufacturing technology is a plus;
Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence and Kaizen methodologies;
Exposure to digital manufacturing systems and advanced manufacturing technologies.

The Anticipated Base Pay Range For This Position Is

€39,800.00 - €64,055.00
