Job Description:

This is an exciting post-graduate or thesis internship opportunity that will allow you to build your expertise and develop your professional skills in an innovative environment.

You will be part of the Operations Department and collaborate on a project related to the internal testing process of converting lines. The project aims to introduce standard statistical tools for measuring data related to the internal testing of machinery.

  • You will learn the principles of converting lines, the internal testing process, and the processes and logic of the production areas.
  • You will analyze and map the current internal testing protocol, including documentation and reporting.
  • You will interface with colleagues from Production and Operations, such as the testing team, technical office, standardization, project management, and digital team.
  • You will identify and analyze product quality data, machine, and component performance to define key test analysis indicators.
  • With your team, you will identify opportunities to improve the test protocol by enhancing current analysis tools with standard statistical methods for effective monitoring.
  • You will draft documentation and reports for internal or customer use.
  • You will learn and apply Lean Six Sigma techniques and work management tools (e.g., SAP, Minitab).
  • You will experience an innovative manufacturing environment, collaborate across roles, and understand how a multinational company operates.
Qualifications:
  • Recent graduate or master's student in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Automation, Electronics, Management, or similar.
  • Technical knowledge of mechanics, reading, and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Strong knowledge and interest in statistics.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
  • Fluency in Italian, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work in a global organization with international customers and colleagues in a dynamic, modern environment.
