- Carry out timely and constant in-line control actions, evaluating and proposing appropriate optimizations with respect to the problems encountered on the production lines.
- Activate the production lines by checking the availability of jigs and tools, constantly supporting them for problems relating to processes and operational criteria and for the maintenance and calibration of production machines and equipment.
- Propose solutions to improve the design reviews for the technological aspects, producibility, qualification of new processes, critical issues, and production costs, through the integration of new technologies or according to Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Develop and release production documentation (work cycles, work instructions, rework instructions, manufacturability reports, First Article Inspection, etc.).
- Carry out statistical analyses of control and effects of process failures (PFMEA) encountered, directing the production departments towards process improvements to be applied in accordance with the principles of lean production.
- Issue and update operating procedures and product prescriptions and manage the qualification action of special processes.
- Participate in technological scouting and the standardization of new technologies within production processes.
- Support the supply chain as a technical body in terms of supplier audits and outsourcing of project-specific products.
- Manage improvement projects relating to production or industrialization.
Technical Requirements
- 2-4 years of Process Engineering experience in the Aerospace & Defense sector with manufacturing focus.
- Good experience on projects applying the PFMEA or Lean Manufacturing methodology.
- Good knowledge of English language.
- Basic knowledge of EN9100 (plus).
Education
Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
