A leading manufacturing company in Castello d'Agogna seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize production processes. You will lead initiatives in Lean methodologies, collaborate with teams to boost efficiency, and contribute to strategic decisions. Candidates should hold a degree in Engineering and possess relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with Lean and Six Sigma certifications.

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer willing to take part in the implementation of new Manufacturing workflow methods. Our aim is to adhere to Lean best practice with the goal of further improving the workplace efficiency of our Production environment.

What does a Manufacturing/Method Engineer look like?

He/she makes Lean Thinking and Continuous Process Improvement a part of the organizational culture. Our Manufacturing Engineer’s goal is to focus on the activities that the customer is willing to pay for (Value) as well as to reduce the ones that do not add value to the end customer (Waste).

After removing the wastes from the value stream, the following action is to ensure that the flow of the remaining steps runs smoothly without interruptions or delays.

If you join us in this role, you will initiate new projects and follow up existing ones, reporting to the Production Manager and cooperating with all the teams to create an efficient and effective organization.

What we expect from you?

• Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in a Lean-oriented Manufacturing setting
• Demonstrated skill and achievement in implementing Lean practices in a manufacturing environment
• Preferably, certification in Six Sigma and a proven track record of applied methodology in your past experience
• Eye for details and ability to roll up your sleeves and get involved whenever necessary
• Self-motivated person, able to work under pressure
• Full of energy and ability to work together with Internal Logistics and Production Team
• Happy to organize and optimize the Production environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
• Experienced with Autocad and fluent in English

You should also be able to drive customer success and demonstrate a genuine interest in accurately understanding and acting on customer needs and expectations. A passion for sustainability is also required, being an example in following policies and practices as well as honoring agreements and commitments.

What you will deal with in this role?

• Estimate production times
• Define Balancing and ideal mix
• Define production Line Layouts according to Lean Manufacturing Concepts
• Create, Update, and Follow up assembly Work Instructions
• Train and Support operators
• Prepare and maintain records in accordance with regulations and company procedures
• Work with Engineering Team to identify and implement Process Improvements and best practices through 5S and lean principles
• Represent an important link between operators and R&D engineers, playing a key role for new products introduction projects and acting as a Production representative in PTMs (Project Team Meetings)
• Optimization of flows for arrival of materials from warehouse to production

The role reports to the Production Manager.
