A furniture manufacturing company located in the Greater Como Metropolitan Area is seeking a Manufacturing Manager. The role encompasses overseeing production operations, managing manufacturing processes, and leading a team to optimize resources and achieve operational targets. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, at least 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience, and a solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles. This is a full-time position focused on enhancing efficiency and compliance with industry standards.

Manufacturing Manager

As Manufacturing Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. This role involves managing manufacturing processes, optimizing resources, and leading a team to achieve operational targets aligned with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and supervise daily manufacturing operations to meet production schedules and quality standards.
  • Monitor workflow and adjust resources to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement lean manufacturing principles.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve productivity.
Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health & safety standards.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance to maintain product quality and resolve issues promptly.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the manufacturing team to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Manage staffing levels, training and performance evaluations.
Budget & Reporting
  • Manage manufacturing budgets and control operational costs.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, KPIs, and improvement plans.
What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, process optimization, and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
