Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Manufacturing Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing all mechanical equipment and surrounding facilities independently, without supervision or assistance. This is a DIRECT HIRE Opportunity and must have manufacturing experience.
Pay rate: $23.61 - $31.20 based on experience
Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Essential Duties and Responsibilities• Follow all safety, food safety, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) rules and regulations.• Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, including down to circuit board level.• Troubleshoot and restore equipment to “like new” condition when required.• Install and dismantle machinery and equipment.• Overhaul machinery, including teardown and part replacement.• Operate mechanical equipment to diagnose and determine necessary repairs.• Use hand tools to repair equipment and building structures.• Perform general building maintenance and repair tasks.• Conduct preventative maintenance such as greasing and oiling machinery.• Apply strong technical and critical thinking skills in all tasks.• Provide personal hand tools and toolbox.
Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Role:• Ensure safe execution of all tasks and compliance with established procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining food safety and quality standards. Report any food safety/quality issues to appropriate personnel if not immediately resolvable.
Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of industrial, mechanical, or electrical trade school OR
• 5+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic or electrician in a manufacturing environment.• Must have food and beverage or CPG Maintenance experience
• Must attend job-related training sessions to build skills and confidence.
Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Work Environment:• Typically moderate noise levels.
• Must adhere to company rules, regulations, and GMPs.
