Baker Hughes in Italy is seeking a Manufacturing Experienced Professional - Operation Management to lead preparation, setup and execution of unit validation tests for Centrifugal Compressors, Steam Turbines and Turboexpanders. The role emphasizes safety, quality and accurate test reporting for customers.

You will work with Engineering and Testing teams to ensure safe test bench operations, maintain testing assets, and contribute to the design and construction of new facilities while supporting

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or technical diploma with 4+ years mechanical/electrical experience
• Read and implement technical drawings (P&ID, wiring diagrams, etc.)
• Fluent in English and Italian
• Experience in testing activities

As Manufacturing Experienced Professional - Operation Management (Test Bench Operation Specialist), you will be in charge of the preparation, the setup and the execution of units validation test for Baker Hughes products, in particular Centrifugal Compressors, Steam Turbines and Turboexpanders. The test engineer will assure that every activity related to the test is performed to the highest level of Safety and Quality and will draw an accurate testing report containing the contractual data to be provided to the Customers.

As a Manufacturing Experienced Professional - Operation Management, you will be responsible for:

• Execute unit validation test, inspection and data acquisition for use in the validation of products and services. Evaluating running parameters and system problems troubleshooting
• Draw up accurate testing reports
• Read technical documentation and coordinate activities on test bench ensuring that all activities are carried out safely complying with company environmental Health & Safety (HSE) and Quality guidelines and procedures
• Interact with Engineering and Testing teams concerning technical issues and interfacing with all involved functions and suppliers. Active role in MFG-ENG design review process
• Keep reliability of Testing assets and to support on proactive way all BH customers (internal and external)
• Support organization for design and construction of new test facilities, instrumentation systems and the development of test software providing ideas about test bench activities development and improvement
• Collaborate to test schedule providing detail information

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Engineering/Technology or a technical/engineering high school diploma with at least 4 years of proven experience in mechanical or electrical activities
• Be able to understand and implement technical drawings (test procedures, wiring diagram, P&ID, General Arrangement, etc.)
• Have mechanical processing knowledge
• Be fluent in English and Italian
• Have good oral and written communication skills. Have good interpersonal skills. Be able to work in team and independently. Have good problem-solving attitude
• Have experience in testing activities
• Be extremely motivated, determined, accounted and committed

Desired Qualifications

• Be familiar with basic PLC programming
• Have knowledge in rotating equipment philosophy, in particular Steam Turbine and Centrifugal Compressor included their auxiliaries
• Have knowledge in Turbomachinery operation
• Have testing departments knowledge
• Have oil&gas products knowledge
