Your role & mission

Reporting to Site Manager andas part of Manufacturing team, you will successfully guide the implementation of initiatives at the San Miniato plant oriented toward process capability improvement. The function encompasses designing, developing improving and implementing manufacturing systems, devices, equipment, processes and procedures to optimize production efficiency, quality, and safety. The goal is secured through the analysis and subsequent optimization of existing systems, and through the study of new solutions of future implementation.

Your scope & daily tasks

• Define the correct technical specifications.
• Define the industrial characteristics: capacity, testing cycle time, safety, repeatability.
• Ensure that all permits are issued in accordance with local regulations and guide the robotization of stack assembly.
• Define the correct layout for feeding the components to be assembled.
• Supervise the supplier based on predefined milestones for industrialization (preliminary acceptance, final reception...).
• Guide the technological transition of manufacturing leading projects to improve existing manufacturing processes or implementing new processes, including new equipment, machinery, facilities.
• Support production to improve its processes and reduce quality problems by creating clear processes and work standards (work instructions, control plans, routines).

Your profile

• Masters degree in Engineering, production methodologies certificates (lean, kaizen, kanban) will be considered a plus.
• 5 years minimum experience in manufacturing, experience inproject management and/or leadership role are considered a plus.
• Ability to plan and lead an Investment Project working independently and prioritizing tasks effectively
• Ability to define control processes and procedures, work instructions, routines and test rocedures
• Ability to run a meticulous data analysis and synthesis of ideas for an effective solution design.
• Ability to interact with local authorities.
• Experience in a multicultural working environment.
• Italian native speaker, fluent business English is a must, French is considered a plus.
