Your role

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be part of the Flow team, reporting to the Manufacturing Team Leader. You will be responsible for improving methods, processes, and tooling to optimize production requirements and material flow in your competence lines, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, tooling, and production equipment capabilities, as well as assembly methods.

• Evaluate products according to specifications and quality standards, estimate production times, define balancing and ideal mix, design production line layouts following Lean Manufacturing concepts, create, update, and follow up on assembly work instructions, train, and support operators.
• Serve as a key link between shop floor personnel and engineers, being essential for new product introduction projects and representing production in Project Team Meetings.
• Work on individual tasks such as 5S or participate in project teams for new product development, taking full responsibility when needed.
• Collaborate closely with equipment suppliers, purchasing, R&D, and production flow teams.
• Investigate assembly tooling requirements, define specifications for new tooling, and oversee maintenance schedules for existing tooling.
• Participate actively in the Safety Committee.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

To succeed, you will need:

Experience requirements

1-3 years of relevant experience in a Lean-oriented manufacturing environment.

Knowledge requirements

• Excellent analytical and project management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); experience with AutoCAD is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Fluent in English

Educational requirements

Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
