Competenze

  • 4-5 anni di esperienza in un ruolo tecnico in stabilimenti di produzione.
  • Buona conoscenza dei processi tecnologici per materiali plastici e metallici.
  • Capacità di gestione di progetti.

Your role

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who will join our plant in Lauriano. Thanks to his/her strong technical knowledge, he/she defines and promotes projects for continuous improvement of methods and technologies installed in the Frames production plant.

MFG Engineer’s – Methods & Technology main goals are analyzing production processes and activating projects aimed to optimize performances, in terms of capability, OEE, quality, level of service. He/She defines and implement proper actions to address technical issues and is focused on standardization of activities. He/She supports the introduction of new products and collaborates with the Automation dept. to identify critical needs of the process to be addressed.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provides technical support, direction, and guidance on improvement of technologies, processes, and equipment reliability to support capacity, capability, and improvements to deliver service and quality results. He/She strives for problem solving.
  • Provides support in organizing and managing manufacturing workflows and resources.
  • Proposes upgrade to systems and processes with new technology or materials.
  • Provides technical support for day-to-day manufacturing and translates technical knowledge to functional groups and training requirements.
  • Leverages the use of lean tools and six sigma approach to improve overall machine performance.
  • Gives support for new equipment characteristics definition, introduction and ramp up.
  • Provides guidance to support standardization of processes and materials across shifts, plants, regions and managing also international benchmark programs.
  • Partners with Quality dept. to develop quality control plans required to sustain operations and deliver product results.
  • Develops and directs procedures and methods to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.
  • Collaborates with other departments, contractors and suppliers.

Main Requirements

  • Previous experience (4-5 years) in a technical role in manufacturing plants where processes are both automated and manual. Knowledge of machines architecture will be a plus.
  • Good knowledge of technological processes, for plastic and metal materials.
  • Method (lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools, problem solving).
  • Knowledge of production KPIs (direct work efficiency, OEE, extra consumption, finance elements).
  • Project Management (time management, stakeholder management).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial/Manufacturing and/or Mechanical Engineering preferred or other engineering discipline.
