Creanova is a leading B2B partner in Medical Device Development & Contract Manufacturing, specializing in innovative (electro-)medical devices with plastic injection molded enclosures.

For our facility in Como, we are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our dynamic growing team.

You will be responsible for managing the design transfer to production and series-production assembly lines for several medical devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the design transfer to production and validation of new manufacturing and assembly line processes for the setup of new series-production assembly lines of medical devices, including plastic injection molding and electronics (PCB);
  • Manage the entire series-production process of (recurring) internal orders of the production lines under your responsibility;
  • Define and implement necessary corrective and preventative actions in response to internal, regulatory, and customer audit requirements;
  • Foster a culture of continuous process improvement with a focus on quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness;
  • Create, review and ensure compliance with Master Batch Records, internal operational procedures, Qualification/Validation plans, protocols and reports, and other essential GMP documents;
  • Plan and conduct training and development for employees regarding new processes;
  • Collaborate and ensure effective communication with internal departments (e.g. quality assurance, quality control and warehouse) as well as externally with suppliers and customers, to ensure seamless operations and timely release of goods.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a scientific, (bio-)engineering, technology or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical device manufacturing or a similar field.
  • Knowledge of plastic injection molding processes and electronics manufacturing (PCB) is a plus;
  • Knowledge of ISO13485 is desirable;
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite;
  • Valid driver's license (B category);
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills;
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams, ensuring efficient and successful manufacturing operations.
