Your role

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and reviewing procedures and equipment involved in the manufacturing process. Duties include researching automation techniques, testing new systems for efficiency, and planning factory layouts to optimize production. The role requires applying science and mathematics to analyze manufacturing costs and KPIs. The engineer supports project tracking within the ME team and collaborates with other regions through benchmarking.

Main responsibilities:

• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with all government laws and regulations.
• Analyze production processes, schedules, and methods; provide management with reports on data and statistics to inform future requirements (e.g., OEE, capabilities, cycle time, balancing, desaturation).
• Review and calculate labor, material, and other production costs; assist in decision-making regarding schedules and future production needs.
• Analyze and plan workflow, equipment placement, and space requirements to improve efficiency.
• Standardize and optimize processes.
