Affinity Petcare is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join thePurchasing department at the Mantova plant. You will ensure timely availability of raw materials and packs for production and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to optimize the sourcing plan.

We are looking for candidates with at least two years in Procurement/Planning/Logistics, fluency in Italian and English, and experience with SAP and Excel. The role offers growth and development within a global petcare company.

Competenze

Two years of proven experience in Procurement/Planning/Logistics.
Knowledge of Planning principles: stock levels, coverage, order point, lead time.
University degree; courses in Procurement/Planning/Logistics are valued.

Mansioni

Plan and coordinate supply of raw materials and packs to cover requested productions according to MRP and supplier factors.
Daily follow up on production and sourcing plan to ensure stock and service level.
Detect and prevent supply risks to minimize shortages and take timely actions.
Control and optimize stocks according to production needs to avoid overstocks and obsolescence.
Coordinate with Scheduling and Production planning teams to follow up on production plans and risk assessments.
Place purchase orders in the system and verify invoices not automatically approved, managing indirect POs as needed.
Identify and implement process/tools improvements for continuous growth.
