Mandarin Video Interpreter (Remote + Paid Training!)

Join our team as a Cantonese OR Mandarin-English interpreter from the comfort of your home! We are looking for bilingual interpreters to work remotely from any part of the world. As part of our team, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between Cantonese and English speakers, ensuring accurate and fluent interpretation in different work situations.

Your main tasks will include interpreting telephone conversations in real time, maintaining confidentiality and impartiality at all times. We are looking for people who are passionate about languages, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in Cantonese or Mandarin and English, able to work autonomously and under pressure.

No previous interpreting experience is required, just a strong desire to learn and grow in this exciting opportunity! If you have a completed high school education and are looking for an internship to develop your language skills, this is the opportunity for you!

Minimum Requirements:

• Native or advanced proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin
• English level C1 or above (especially strong speaking skills)
• Reliable high-speed internet (minimum 30 Mbps upload/download)
• Availability for our 4-week training program
• Laptop or desktop computer (no tablets or smartphones)
• Ethernet cable and USB Headset
• Folding Screen - desirable
