Among 1000+ global employees, 30 are based in Milan, and the company is seeking to onboard their next leader.

Job Description

The Managing Director, reporting to the VP of Global Sales, will be responsible for:

  • Aligning with global policies, reviewing, updating, and implementing strategic business plans, including financial performance and new product development;
  • Setting KPIs, leading and monitoring the budgeting process to achieve sales targets;
  • Deploying new standards and quality roadmaps to meet global growth objectives;
  • Fostering long-term partnerships with existing clients and representing the company to potential new clients;
  • Ensuring operations comply with Group policies and standards, especially regarding HSE, ISO certifications, and policies;
  • Managing project processes to meet client expectations from request to installation;
  • Exercising strong leadership through empowerment, collaboration, coaching, and mentoring;
  • Leading cultural and organizational change management to promote an open and collaborative environment at all levels.
The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate holds an Engineering Degree in Electronic, Electrical, or Industrial Automation, with proven leadership experience in Sales within the Industrial Automation sector, preferably from components or sensor manufacturing.
A strong understanding of project management and customer orientation is highly desired. The candidate should possess excellent problem-solving skills, proactively offering solutions and opportunities, and managing issues independently.
They must be capable of building trust with a hands-on approach, effectively leading necessary transformations after years of traditional governance.
Fluency in English and Italian is required; German language skills are a plus.
