SMS group S.p.A. is expanding its technical-commercial back-office team in Genoa. You will identify components, prepare spare parts packages, and help draft precise commercial quotations. You will coordinate orders, analyze project data, and maintain ERP records while ensuring timely delivery and strong customer support.

The role requires a degree in engineering, English fluency, and experience in mechanical engineering environments; SAP S/4HANA knowledge is a plus.

Competenze

• Degree in Engineering or Technical Diploma (Mechanical preferred).
• Experience in technical-commercial back-office roles within mechanical engineering companies or steel production plant environments.
• Fluent English language skills (written and spoken).

Mansioni

• Identify required components, equipment, and systems using customer technical documentation and internal engineering support.
• Prepare spare parts packages for initial supply in collaboration with product-specific technical departments.
• Evaluate costs in cooperation with purchasing, costing, and supplier management teams.
• Draft technical specifications and detailed commercial quotations.
• Oversee and coordinate order execution, ensuring on-time delivery and accuracy.
• Collect and analyze project information, aligning after-sales activities with contractual milestones.
• Maintain accurate records of quotations and orders within ERP systems.
• Provide excellent customer service, handling technical inquiries and support needs.

YOU KNOW

• Degree in Engineering or Technical Diploma (preferred specializations: Mechanical)
• Previous experience in technical-commercial back-office roles within mechanical engineering companies or steel production plant environments
• Mandatory: Fluent English language skills (written and spoken)
• Preferred: Proficiency in an additional language
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience of SAP S/4HANA is considered a plus
