Job Overview

The Retail Analytics Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing data-driven insights to support retail execution across multiple channels, including Walmart, grocery, and convenience stores. The role involves leading performance tracking, scorecard development, and automation efforts to align with organizational goals for sales growth, retail execution, and ROI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain industry-standard retail scorecards for Direct Retail, Walmart & Grocery Brokers, and Convenience Brokers, including KPIs.
  • Implement benchmarks and goals aligned with industry standards and company priorities.
  • Ensure scorecards provide actionable insights for broker managers, account teams, and leadership.
  • Partner with Broker Managers to ensure data-driven decision-making around execution priorities.
  • Track new item cut-ins across channels.
  • Develop and refine KPIs for store-level execution, including distribution gaps, display execution, and sales impact.
  • Support performance tracking for Direct Retail, including incremental sales and productivity goals.
  • Establish and refine ROI measurement frameworks for retail teams.
  • Lead collaboration with IT and Data Teams to automate reporting processes.
  • Drive efficiency by reducing manual data work and integrating real-time analytics.
  • Identify and implement new tools for reporting accuracy and execution tracking.
  • Work with Broker Managers and Account Teams to enable prioritization with KPIs.
  • Develop feedback loops to improve retail execution based on insights.
  • Participate in weekly and monthly account meetings to align data priorities.

Budget & Strategic Planning

  • Support retail execution budgets and identify areas to improve spend efficiency and maximize ROI.
