We are looking to recruit a new member of staff at the Trieste Office, Italy location as soon as possible:

Manager, PX (Human Resources) Business Partner

PURPOSE:

The Manager, People Excellence (PX) Business Partner Italy collaborates with and facilitates between Italy team members and human resources centers of excellence to provide strategic guidance and people excellence services to Italy-based team members. Additionally, the PXBP Italy manages local compliance and team member performance management.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Manage people excellence functions locally, in collaboration with corporate headquarters, including but not limited to talent acquisition, talent development, benefits, employee relations, engagement activities and/or other projects.
  2. Effectively partner with business leaders regarding team member matters to proactively implement effective solutions that align with the company’s strategic pillars.
  3. Partner closely with business leaders and team members to optimize workplace retention and productivity. Solicit input and feedback necessary to foster a positive work environment.
  4. Develop and implement local policies that meet local labor and compliance requirements, aligning with corporate policies where appropriate.
  5. Manage local legal issues in close collaboration with corporate headquarters and local legal counsel.
  6. Manage human resources activities for Italy payroll accounting processes in close collaboration with the finance department.
  7. Oversee local facilities responsibilities including office space, insurance and supply management and workplace occupational safety.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field of study; or any equivalent combination of relevant education, skills, training, and experience.
  2. Minimum 5 years of progressive HR related experience. At least one year of supervisory/management experience.
  3. Business fluent in Italian and English.
  4. Possess organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize and be detail oriented.
  5. Thorough understanding of local labor laws and regulations.
  6. Ability to build trust, influence, drive change with leaders to align the people strategy with business goals.
  7. Effectively communicate with team members at all levels within the organization.
  8. Ability to handle and maintain sensitive and confidential information.
  9. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, intermediate level Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
