The Manager, Operations, will be overall in-charge of the Production and Logistics department and all related functions. The incumbent will lead manufacturing operations in Breganze, including Assembly, Fabrication, Manufacturing Engineering, and Logistics.
- Plan and control the performance of manufacturing operations (KPIs).
- Support actions to realize performance of indirect operational impactors (site KPIs).
- Manage resource planning, investment, and budgeting.
- Manage the facilities plant.
- Coordinate and cooperate with other function heads to realize goals.
- Initiate and manage projects aligned with company development goals.
- What You Will Do
- Process Improvement: Analyze existing processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize workflow, increase productivity, and reduce costs.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and regularly monitor operational metrics to assess performance, identify trends, and take corrective actions as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Quality Manager to ensure products/services meet or exceed customer expectations and comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Risk Management: Identify operational risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize their impact on business operations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as Customer Service, to align operational activities and support overall business objectives.
- Generate and implement improvement plans to reduce costs and improve plant performance, interfacing with the Group's central entities.
- Ensure integration and communication with other Group functions and customers.
- What You Will Bring
- Master/Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing industry, especially in construction industry. Good understanding/experience in Lean Manufacturing concepts.
- Experience in leadership/senior management roles, with the ability to interact with multiple levels of leadership internally and externally. Business-minded, self-starter mentality, and flexible in handling change. Experience in quality methods and practices.
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a similar industry.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement and implementing best practices.
- Good English knowledge.
