What impact will you make?

Experienced - Event Driven Finance Transformation - M&A

Your Role

As a Manager in the Finance Transformation domain serving the Financial Services Industry (FSI), you will be involved in supporting the M&A process through activities such as :

• Supporting the definition and execution of activities to succeed in an M&A event
• Assisting the bank in the authorization process
• Identifying workstreams for integration projects
• Assessing impacts on business and IT processes, focusing on CFO-related areas (accounting, planning & control, treasury, etc.)
• Governance of the transaction (migration planning, mandatory fulfillments, etc.)
• Managing stakeholders, including business, IT, regulatory bodies, and external advisors
• Leading Deloitte’s working group and coordinating with other teams
• Identifying post-merger business opportunities
• Preparing client pitches for M&A and CFO-related opportunities
• Participating in marketing and networking activities

Winning Requirements

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Engineering
• 7-9 years of experience in business consulting, demonstrating expertise in M&A activities and IT implications
• Proven leadership in cross-functional teams and subject matter expertise
• Fluency in business English and Italian for stakeholder engagement
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Awareness of emerging technologies such as AI / Gen-AI
• Strategic leadership capabilities in the financial services domain
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus but not mandatory
