Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for accelerating the reach of Lilly medicines by developing and executing innovative marketing strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of patient behavior, market dynamics, and the ability to leverage data analytics to inform decision-making. The role will lead efforts to expand consumer marketing capabilities by identifying, leading, and building industry-leading consumer capabilities and skills.
• Develop and implement comprehensive patient-directed marketing plans in close partnership with local teams and global colleagues that align with the business's strategic objectives.
• Execute with excellence across priority initiatives.
• Develop and deliver patient campaigns (i.e. disease campaign) that lead to customer satisfaction and trust, while seeking business opportunities.
• Lead a growing consumer team over time, as well as cross-functional teams to ensure successful brand Lilly building and consumer engagement initiatives.
• Utilize market research and consumer insights to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
• Collaborate with brand teams, communications, medical affairs, and market access teams to optimize product positioning and messaging.
• Manage consumer marketing budgets and assess the effectiveness of patient-directed marketing campaigns (i.e. disease campaigns).
• Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes to adapt marketing strategies accordingly.
• Develop the awareness and trust of the Lilly Masterbrand
• Develop consumer partnerships to increase both Lilly brand awareness and trust.
• Develop, together with the dedicated function in PRA, B2B retail partnerships/ecosystem to increase both Lilly brand awareness and our target markets.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA will be a plus to cover the position)
• 3+ years of experience in consumer marketing, preferably from a consumer product goods, tech, etc.
• Proven experience in consumer marketing and brand management with the ability to understand customer insights and create culturally relevant, engaging content that meets country regulations.

Other Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven marketing decision-making; understanding both leading and lagging metrics.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, particularly in cross-functional collaboration, decision-making, and leading without authority.
• Experience in organizational change management and the ability to influence senior leaders for key strategic decisions.
• Experience in program management of cross-functional short and mid-term marketing initiatives
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
