General Description

BeOne is on a mission to improve the lives of patients worldwide.

We are looking for a highly motivated and strategic Communication and Patient Advocacy Manager to join our team. This role will focus on building strong relationships with the healthcare and patient community and will report to the Director of Communications, Patient Advocacy, and Government Affairs Italy. The successful candidate will develop and execute integrated corporate affairs strategies aligned with BeOne’s mission and business goals, managing both internal and external communications and stakeholder engagement.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in branded and unbranded communication, media relations, digital engagement, and responsible communication practices, with specific experience in patient advocacy within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors.

This position is based in Milan.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement communication strategies aligned with corporate and brand objectives within budgets and timelines.
  2. Support product and pipeline communications in collaboration with medical and marketing teams.
  3. Coordinate with PR and communication partners to produce materials like corporate resources, media kits, and presentations.
  4. Create engaging content in partnership with cross-functional teams and external agencies to support social media and digital strategies.
  5. Enhance corporate reputation through executive visibility activities, including speaking engagements and media opportunities.
  6. Assist in internal communications strategies in collaboration with HR.
  7. Measure and analyze the effectiveness of communication initiatives using KPIs and metrics.

Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of experience in healthcare communications or PR, with a minimum of 3 years in a corporate (pharma or biotech) environment. Proven success in national-level communication initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements

  • Experience in engaging with patient advocacy groups and internal stakeholders.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure.
  • High attention to detail and quality.

Education

  • Master’s degree in communications or related field preferred.
  • Excellent English writing and editing skills.
