This role offers the opportunity to lead and shape a critical function within Amazon's advertising, driving operational excellence in campaign planning and execution through a high-performing team of digital advertising professionals. The 40+ team will be internal-facing only, interacting with stakeholders across EU5 and responsible for undertaking executional tasks on the behalf of high-profile brands. The right candidate will therefore combine strong people management skills with knowledge of digital advertising operations to secure delivery excellence and team development. They will be responsible for the ultimate success of the program and therefore have a high degree of responsibilty for the outputs of the team.


Key job responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate a large team of Campaign Planner contractors, ensuring optimal resource allocation and workload distribution across EU5 locales
* Drive end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, training, continuous development programs, retention, handover planning and transitions of contractors
* Establish and maintain performance metrics, quality standards, and operational excellence frameworks, providing regular feedback and coaching when required
* Resolve performance quality concerns, issues and complaints raised within the team when necessary
* Ensure compliance with contractual and administrative obligations of contractor agency policies
* Implement, maintain and continuously improve standardised processes for campaign planning and execution
* Facilitate communication between team members and internal stakeholders across EU5, including reporting results/performance/improvement action plans to leadership
* Drive operational efficiency improvements and best practice dissemination within the team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* 8+ years of professional experience including:
* 3+ years in the media landscape and developing media strategies, preferably the Amazon Ads suite
* 5+ years of large team management experience, preferably in a contractor management capacity


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


* Proven track record in building, training and managing high-performing teams
* Experience in developing and implementing operational processes and standards
* Strong project management and organizational skills
* Excellence in stakeholder management and communication
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
