ABOUT THE ROLE AND THE TEAM

The Controller and Business Partner will play a critical role in managing the financial operations of the subsidiary, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic insights to support business decisions. This role requires a strong understanding of financial management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.

WHAT YOULL DO :

  • Financial Reporting : Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting : Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing detailed analysis and insights to support strategic planning.
  • Financial Analysis : Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Internal Controls : Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Business Partnering : Collaborate with department heads and senior management to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Cost Management : Monitor and control costs, ensuring efficient use of resources and identifying areas for cost savings.
  • Compliance : Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.

Qualifications

ABOUT YOUR SKILLS

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a subsidiary of a larger organization.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English and Italian
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
