Summary
This position is assigned to the Fleet & Family Readiness (FFR) N9 Program; Commander, Navy Region Europe, Africa, Central (CNREURAFCENT); Naples, Italy. The incumbent serves in the CNEURAFCENT Regional (N92) office, providing support to the N92 Director, the N91 Director, and subordinate N92 & N91 Regional Division Managers. Performs a variety of clerical, administrative, and analytical support functions to support the Region and Installation Managers across the theater.
Duties
- Obtains and presents information; prepares various reports. Researches, assembles, and summarizes materials related to office functions. Monitors organization actions for reporting compliance. Advises personnel on document requirements and formats.
- Contacts personnel to obtain information. Validates conflicting data and presents comprehensive information. Manages incoming correspondence, determines priority, and maintains background documentation.
- Prepares executive and staff correspondence and reports using automated systems like Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel. Maintains logs and suspense records, reviews outgoing correspondence for accuracy, and discusses corrections with originators.
- Performs analyses to support office missions. Reviews data for completeness and accuracy, compiles statistics, and supports decision-making processes. Conducts qualitative reviews for presentations.
- Utilizes systems to produce reports and documents. Analyzes work methods and procedures, reviews policies, and provides advice to organizational personnel.
- Serves as the KRONOS timekeeper for N92 staff.
- Receives visitors and calls, screens inquiries, manages calendars, and arranges meetings. Maintains office records and files documents.
- Performs general clerical duties, plans and accomplishes administrative work, and maintains organized filing systems.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Satisfactory completion of background checks, including fingerprint and NACI.
- Male applicants born after 12-31-59 must register for Selective Service.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of DoD, Navy, and CNIC instructions, policies, and regulations for report preparation and advice.
- Knowledge of management analysis rules to evaluate and interpret guidance.
- Skills in research, data collection, and report development.
- Understanding of policies and priorities for responding to inquiries and managing appointments.
- Knowledge of agency correspondence regulations for preparing and reviewing documents.
- Familiarity with processing procedures, formats, and retention policies for official documents.
