As a Major Account Manager for Central Government, you will partner with customers to secure their digital environments, addressing critical challenges with tailored solutions. This role significantly impacts company revenue and growth, requiring experienced sales professionals to lead complex sales engagements.

Your Impact

  • Drive and orchestrate large, complex sales cycles, collaborating with internal teams to serve customers effectively
  • Utilize consultative selling to identify business challenges and craft solutions for prospects and clients
  • Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs to position Palo Alto Networks solutions effectively
  • Create clear goals and accurate forecasts through detailed territory planning
  • Leverage customer stories to craft compelling value propositions and insights
  • Stay informed on industry trends and their impact on our products and services
  • Travel within your territory and to company meetings as needed
Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Knowledge of SaaS architectures, preferably in networking and security, with a focus on SASE technology
  • Solid sales experience in the Public Sector/Central Government, managing large, complex deals
  • Experience managing CONSIP Framework Agreements and working with Business Partners
  • Proven ability in selling complex solutions using value and consultative sales techniques
  • Technical understanding of how technology solutions address business problems
  • Problem identification, data analysis, root cause analysis, and scalable solution provision
  • Ability to cultivate relationships with channel partners for a channel-centric approach
  • Deep knowledge of the full sales cycle and structured sales process adherence
  • Holistic problem-solving skills considering complex interrelationships
  • Excellent time management and autonomous work capability
