Competenze

• Almeno 3 anni di esperienza in un ruolo simile nella ristorazione di lusso.
• Fluenza in inglese e italiano; terza lingua è un plus.
• Esperienza nella ristorazione fine a livello internazionale preferita.

We are seeking a Maître d'Hôtel for the upcoming season (spring / summer 2025) to join our restaurant team.

The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and thrives on challenges. He / She should possess exceptional taste and exemplary customer service skills.

The Maître manages the dining room operations, overseeing the front of house staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining impeccable service standards.

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, key responsibilities include :

• Anticipating guest needs and resolving complaints to provide a personalized, high-quality guest experience.
• Collaborating with the Restaurant Manager on staff development and managing daily operations according to standards and procedures.
• Maintaining professional relationships with guests and colleagues.

Essential requirements include :

• Effective communication, emotional intelligence, and adaptability.
• Teamwork and proactive assistance to colleagues.
• Goal-oriented approach with resource management skills.
• Respectful and inclusive attitude towards all staff and guests.
• Ability to advise on pricing strategies and review them as instructed by the Restaurant Manager.

Additional requirements :

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the luxury hotel industry.
• Fluency in English and Italian; knowledge of a third language is a plus.
• Experience in fine dining at an international level preferred.
• Knowledge of Italian cuisine and Italian & international wines.
• HACCP certification.

About Belmond and the Role :

• Seasonal Labour contract according to C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo - Level 3, Maitre.
• Start : April 2025; End : November 2025, with potential for ongoing collaboration.
• Gross monthly salary approximately €2,350, with additional allowances for 13th, 14th salaries, and TFR.
• Performance-based welfare incentives and welcome bonus.
