From La Terrazza - one of the most spectacular restaurants in Italy - to our new Pool Grill Restaurant and Cocktail Bar, culinary excellence is in our DNA.

We are looking for a Maître for the next season (spring/summer 2025) to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges. He/She should have exceptional taste and exemplary customer service skills.

The Maître manages dining room operations, oversees the front of house brigade, and is responsible for customer relations and ensuring impeccable service at all times. He/She reports to the Restaurant Manager.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Anticipate guests’ needs and handle guest complaints, providing an excellent and personalized guest experience in line with our service standards.
  2. Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager for staff development; manage staff in daily operations according to our standards and procedures.
  3. Maintain professional relationships with guests and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Effective communication, emotional intelligence, and adaptability.
  • Teamwork: be a role model and proactively assist others.
  • Drive results: set clear goals and optimize resources.
  • Global perspective: treat everyone with respect and inclusiveness.
  • Ability to advise on pricing and review strategies as instructed by the Restaurant Manager.
Other Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the same role within the luxury hotel industry.
  • Fluent in English and Italian; a third language is desirable.
  • Experience at an international level in fine dining restaurants preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of Italian cuisine and Italian & international wines.
  • HACCP certification.
