Splendido, A Belmond Hotel, Portofino, invites a talented Maitre to lead the La Terrazza dining room for the 2027 season. You will supervise service, ensure personalized guest experiences, and collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to uphold Belmond's renowned standards.

The ideal candidate brings at least 3 years in luxury hotels, fluent English and Italian (a third language is a plus), and a deep knowledge of Italian cuisine and wines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the same role in the luxury hotel industry.
• Fluent in English and Italian; a third language is desirable.
• Experience at international level in a fine dining restaurant preferred.
• Professional knowledge of Italian cuisine and Italian & International wines HACCP certification.

Responsabilités

• Anticipate guests’ needs and handle guest complaints, providing an excellent and personalized guest experience in line with our service standards.
• Anticipate guests needs and handle guest complaints.
• Cooperate with the Restaurant Manager for staff development.
• Manage staff in everyday operations according to our standard and procedures.
